Brave

I have told you before, you don’t have to be brave anymore
I will tell you this a thousand time more
You don’t have to be brave anymore
You have fought through every storm and I could of not ask for more
You have held me in my darkest hour and gave me all of your might
Just so I could make it through the night

Now it is your turn to feel
To Cry
To laugh
To grieve
To be angry
To be sad

You have held me through a lifetime of an emotional rollercoaster
It is now your time to heal and peel away your armour so you can feel again
Without the panic in the back of your head
Forget about what has been said and turn into a flower instead
So, you can bloom and be brave
But, you can cry every day and that is okay

Remember in your darkest hour
I will be by your side
I will hold your hand
I will till you are not sad
I am glad to have you in my life, so hold on tight
I know you will be alright

Throughout these difficult days, the remember the past cannot be erased
Yet, it how we choose to stay and learn to dance in the rain
But, you don’t always have to brave
You are safe.
