Below The Sun

I wish there was a place where you could stay in these safe hands
A place to hold you so that you didn’t fall
I wish I could give you more time and a lifetime of joy rather than pain
I am sorry that you felt you had to go and fly below the sun
You were tired of run from your shadow

Although people kept saying you deserved more than these prison walls
But, you choose to go to angel falls
You couldn’t continue to hold on
I am sorry I was not there
I still cared
I couldn’t bare to see you this way
You choose not stay and have flown to better days

You have begun a new life in the skies
You are free now
You are home
