Wheat Kings

The wheat kings are my shadow
They are my witness’s to the constant cycle of events that are unfolding in front of me

They see my trauma
They are my truth when everyone else questions my words
They do not unleash lava of hate
They patiently wait, moving gracefully in the wind
They help me to begin and they choose not to don’t see my sin

They calm the chaos in my mind and rewrite a new chapter of hope, joy, and laughter
I wish I could see further ahead
but for now, I am better here instead

I need to mend my broken wings and heal from within
Until then, I cannot begin again under this star lit sky
It just takes time to learn how to live life
I have patience on my side which I have to find in theses difficult times
