Underneath the moonlight
Your reflection shines brightly
Yet, I am trying to find reasons to fight
I am holding on to the promise of sunlight in the morning
Without warning the storms are coming
They are swarming
I cannot stand outside talking
My skin is crawling with pain

I am determined to stay another day
To explore the reason for the raindrops
To understand why the world is drenched in sorrow
I just have to hold onto tomorrow
I will not live in the shadows of fear
I will step in the light and see it through the night

When in the morning I will feel re-energized before the dawn and I will not fall under the weight of sadness
I will not let my tears drown myself in despair
I will breathe in fresh air and I will find hope everywhere
