Stay

Don’t you care about family
Don’t you care about us
Were we not good enough
Was this how you showed your love
I hate what has become of us
I sorry that I was never enough

For you to stay in one place
A blank space lives among us
I am trying not to give this up
Even though I have had enough
I will not give up
I will find the love amidst the hate
I know that I can not replace those days
I just hope they fade away; this is what I pray for each day
Even if it rains, I will remove the pain and find another way
Back to you
Even though I am two thousand miles away from you
