Safe Haven

I am tired of the bullets hitting my soul
My body cannot repel your fire
It is weaker by the relentless punchers into my open skin
I am beginning to wear thin
But I will bring my inner strength to the front of mind and given the wounds time to heal instead of continuously peeling away
Praying my body with marks from the past
I cannot run so fast
Away from the pain
But I will find a way out of this maze

I will not blame or cause a flame of anger
I will wait on the outskirts of heaven
If you continue to fire your weapon to make an impression
I will leave the aggression at the door and continue to walk away
Wounded and tired
But I am still inspiration to find my safe haven
Where ever that maybe be
I will just have to see
