Best I Can Be

Twenty four I never thought that I would make it

Back then

When my body was broken

When my my mind use to cry

Even though it still does sometimes
I have to remind myself that I still a child deep inside my heart

I still fear the darkness

I still fear seeing the ghosts of the past

But, I don’t lose hope
I am still hear breathing

I keep believing and will continue my healing

I will continue to reach for the stars

Even if I fall apart

I will mend my broken heart and leave the past behind
And..

One day you will see
I will be the best I can be
