Ash Tree

Free falling
My tears are pouring
I am in mourning from the friend I had
I am glad that I have not gone mad
With your personal attacks
I act calm and quiet
Assured that I am free from others judgement

In my heart
In my soul
I know that I have done nothing wrong
So I continue along this broken road
I carry on
Trying to find some protection from all those who have hurt me
You just don’t see
This is me

I use to be carefree
Since you have left the debris
I don’t hold the key to unlock the Tennessee
You just don’t let me be
Getting your family to give me the third degree

So I will move to the Yangtze
I will be completely free from my life being projected in 3D
I can finally live in peace under the ash tree
