Farewell

The seasons have become a symbol of change
For all of those who have lost their way
I wish things would stay the same
The rain came and turned into snow
I had to find a new home
You left me alone

I told you about my syndrome
In the end your words turned into foam
I wish I could disintegrate them back to stone
And go back to the catacomb

But, this year is different I said
Back then when I felt I couldn’t love again
Things where better back then
So I will build a paper friend
To amend all he said

We can’t pretend or defend your empty words
Instead we will repel the swell
But, we will not dwell
Just say farewell
