Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch
Sits on the hatch
Watching the bats
As there miss matched faces
Slowing detach from the physical soul into the deep black hole
Where there is no society control
There is no one to patrol the streets
So fleets of people walk aimlessly through the night
Not meaning to cause a fright
They are just awaiting for the candles to burn through
For the light to flicker and quiver

Then there will be another year of peace from the deceased
