Another Mind

Another mind you have taken away
What have you gained?

Another life has been displaced
You are left with the aftertaste of toxic waste

Waiting to be embraced
But the airspace become a chase

You wait for a wave of grace to clear the place
But you have been misplaced

As you wait, you become as thin as a paperweight
Leaving you open to a change of state
Which continues to fluctuate
Highlighting your worst mistakes

But, you do not flake
You remain awake
You just need a break
Life is about give and take

You don’t quake
You just sit by the lake and redesign a new fate
