Wheat Kings

Wheat kings sing a quiet hymn  From deep within

The wind guides their silent stories peaceful through the fields

Creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquility
A sense of friendship forms

Instead of pain which use to haunt them everyday
Life won’t be the same

By next May

The sky won’t be grey

You will breakaway for the past that has left you feeling overcast like you are wearing a false mask
But, you choose not to hideaway

You continue to find another way

And maybe someday

You will stay and not run away

To the safety of the bay

You will live another day
